...and I'm sad to say, he's not doing so well these days.
Sorry for the lack of posts these day, friends. I am spending the weekend with my buddy in Valdosta, hoping he'll pull another year for us... although, as a great dane, I already consider his run quite the miracle.
Taken below in 1999. Maverick was 3, I was 18.
We love him so much.

My goodness - 13! He obviously has had very many healthy and happy years. Looks like you love him very much! So sorry he is not doing very well:o( We know how a dog becomes a very precious member of the family.

Wow... what a long, wonderful life he has had! Many hugs, friend. I know it's hard to see a family member suffer, even the furry ones.
