Poor Baby...

Life is not fair. It's just not fair...

Doesn't this series make you smile? Of course, I captured more of Preston than these oh-so-cute pouts, but still. I can absolutely see how life is tough for a 7 month old...

The Sweet Torres Family

There is no more joy and honor than documenting treasured images for another photographer's family. Katie and Chris started Six of Four four years ago to capture all of the emotions and details of Atlanta's most sophisticated weddings. They are also dear friends of ours, so when they asked me to help capture some family photos for them, I accepted this responsibility with a hand above my heart.

I realized these were more than just images to hang around the home. They are the memories that remind you of how sweet it is to hold your daughter close to you as she sleeps....how it feels for your heart to skip a beat to see her smile, and how happy and proud and complete you feel to have her part of your life...

Chris and Katie know they are blessed parents, and it was an amazing experience for me to witness such love.

Here are some of my favorites of Rosemary with mom & dad at 3 months.

Thank you so much again for opening your family so beautifully to me, Chris & Katie.

ps - And thank you for dinner last night! I would post a photo of our wonderful creation from Bella Cucina, but we finished it faster than I could document it. THANK YOU!

Double the fun

It's been so much fun watching Marin and Graham grow up over the year! I am still enamored by mom and her ability to raise three beautiful, yet rambunctious kids. Each of them with their own personalities.... Do you remember the Cowboy and the Princess?

Here they are, 6 months later.

And their big sister Lauren....

We had such a great time at the park. I LOVE Spring time!!

Pretty Business Cards, WPPI & Philadelphia

HelloO! I've missed being away...

Just returned from *the* convention for the photography industry, WPPI. Attended some inspiring presentations, met some really cool vendors, and my favorite part - hung out with the girls of NAPCP. What a soulful, supportive and amazing group. A shot from our sushi dinner the first night...

Prior to leaving for WPPI, my favorite printer Studio-Z sent me a batch of circle-die-cut letterpressed business cards for NAPCP. I {heart} letterpress and my new cards. Of course, the circle tends to remind folks to use coasters with their drinks, but I don't care. I absolutely love the way they turned out...

We have A LOT going on behind the scenes for NAPCP, and we are *so* thrilled. You know I wouldn't have it any other way...

I'll be out of the office (again) until Monday, 3/22. Visiting one of my closest girlfriends & her new baby Christopher in Philly. Will return will lots of photos for sure!

Lola, 4 weeks old

Ideally, newborn sessions should be scheduled within the first 14 days of life. However, it's never, ever too late (or too early) to start documenting your littlest one.
