Joy is.

...not caring if you have dirt on your new oxford shirt, jumping up and down 27 times to catch fish in the pond, and laughing with utter delight because you're 2 years old and everything around you is worth laughing about.

And they say you can't learn much from a 2 year old....

Last week, I left Atlanta's torrential rain and flew into one of the most beautiful New York fall days. Ransom (you may remember my previous post on this sweet boy here) is now talking, fascinated by all things balls, and just loves doing everything with mom and dad.

His curls won me over

Meet Ransom. 10 months, resides in NYC and has the most joyful laugh.

When I arrived to take photos at his grandmother's home, he crawled over, smiled and quickly crawled in another direction. That was my first glimpse of the most beautiful red curls.
